The annual Texas scramble with the ladies played on March 22nd  resulted in a win for Jannete Roe Janice Cooper Norman Jeffrey & John Fitzpatrick with a score of 1 under par the comp was reduced to 9 holes due to the inclement weather conditions. The first Beckwatcher's match was played on Monday March 29th  against Seascale Golf Club at home  in a close fought match Seascale were the victor's by 4 & Half Matches to 3 & Half Matches.
